Institute for Activism and Social Change

The Albanian Institute for Activism and Social Change (IANS) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting inclusive, empathetic and sustainable societies, capable of effectively addressing social polarization. We believe that every individual has the right to make decisions about their own lives and to enjoy the rights set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We advocate for an open, informed, engaged and responsible society in facing local and regional challenges. We are committed to building a society where cultural, ethnic, racial and other differences are seen as sources of enrichment and not division. As an integral part of civil society, our work is guided by the personal initiatives of professionals and volunteers, in cooperation with international institutions and diplomatic partners.
