Throughout the three decades of non-profit sector activity, diversification and financial sustainability has been and continues to be one of the main challenges for non-profit organizations (NPOs). Many organizations in the country are based on donor’s project funds, mainly international donors. State support and funding over the years, both financial and non-financial, remain low.

Partners Albania for Change and Development and the National Resource Centre for Civil Society, bring to the attention of civil society organizations and other institutions and actors this research in order to introduce community foundations, in support of strengthening the civil society sector and local communities.
