On July 7, 2021, Partners Albania for Change and Development and the National Resource Centre for Civil Society presented in a virtual meeting, the annual report of the Monitoring Matrix on the Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development, 2020. In the eighth year of its preparation, the report presents an analysis of the enabling environment in line with the priorities set out in the Roadmap for Policy Making and Measures for an Enabling Environment for Civil Society 2018-2022.

The meeting brought together about 62 representatives of civil society organizations. Discussions focused on the analysis of a number of important legal initiatives, part of the Anti-Money Laundering / Combating Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) package undertaken through a non-inclusive process, including the new law “On the Registration of Non-Profit Organizations”, which not considers some important recommendations of civil society organizations.
