The Aulona Center works to improve the health and well-being of people, especially the marginalized and the needy through: – Advocacy for appropriate legislation and policies including the field of reproductive health. – Raising awareness of the population, and groups at risk, about a healthy lifestyle and human rights. – Elimination of barriers for equal participation of men and women in all areas of economy, politics, social life. – Preventing gender-based violence and trafficking in human beings and providing protection for survivors of violence. – Promoting and providing equal access to quality information, accessible services and tools and education, especially for young people and groups at risk. – Increasing women’s participation in politics and decision-making
