The EMA considers European Integration to be generally beneficial, but acknowledges that in many respects this process is not functioning properly. Therefore, our goal is to promote new ideas for policy improvement within the country’s development process. The EMA is a forum for exchanging views on the political, economic and social challenges facing the country. We are committed to encouraging and strengthening current democratic experiences, promoting these values during the policy-making process, analysis and implementation of public policies in the country. During its activity, EMA strives to make the policy-making process as transparent, open and accountable to the public interest as possible, by offering alternative suggestions stemming from fact-based research. Given the needs and challenges of Albanian society in this transformation process, as well as the objectives of the EMA, our work is focused on several key areas such as: scientific research, analysis and advocacy; professional capacity building and training; public debates and political forums; as well as the development of monitoring mechanisms on some issues of particular importance to the public.
